About
I am a poet and textile artist based in Belgium, where I have recently returned after a decade living and working in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Jerusalem, and Uganda.
I am particularly interested in contemporary poetry: on the page, visually, through sound, film and performance. I perform regularly at the European Poetry Festival and I curate the Brussels Camarade.
Osmosis Press featured my film poem Signs on Leaves and my poems have appeared in aswirl, Ink, Sweat & Tears, the Seen as Read anthology (ed. SJ Fowler), Live Canon Anthology 2020, 3:AM Magazine, Writers Kingston, the Book of Penteract, Harpy Hybrid Review, Wet Grain, Mercurius, Overground Underground, Needle, Acropolis Journal, and the Popogrou Anthology (ed. Simon Tyrrell, 2024).
My pamphlet, Have Needle, Will – word and textile poems – is out with Moormaid Press. You can see the launch here
My first collection, Found & Lost came out in 2022 (Kingston University Press). A solo exhibition of textile poetry building on that collection ran at the Green Door Gallery in Brussels, in 2023 and I exhibited in two other group shows, and at Bleekstraat in Mechelen too.
Light Hungry, an exhibition of visual poetry with Sylee Gore and Jules Sprake ran at The Green Door Gallery 23 November – 7 December 2024. The pamphlet accompanying the exhibition is available from Moormaid Press.
